On Thursday,
17th May 2012 at EWSA Headquarter, the memorandum of understanding has
been signed between EWSA energy Water and sanitation and CONLOG a company
registered in South Africa whose business is the design, manufacture, selling,
distribution and systems to utilities such as EWSA.

According to
Yves Muyange the Director General of EWSA, the memorandum object is that EWSA
has expressed its wish to CONLOG of its requirements to improve and expand its
range of public services that it presently offers and CONLOG is desirous to
extend and grow its business relations with EWSA.
The memorandum
shall remain in force for a period of 2 years and by mutual agreement; the two
parties can extend the memorandum.
Jaap GROBLER
the managing Director of CONLOG said that CONLOG is responsible to supply to EWSA
split keypad RF meters; the meters will comprise the1-phase WBEC44PLT enclosed
in a pole mounted IP54 meter box and to take on all expenses charge and taxes
or levies of importation applicable in the Republic of Rwanda.
EWSA agree to commit the appropriate resources
to support the installation commissioning and on-going operation and management
of the field trial to ensure that it is successful.
EWSA also commits to
identify a suitable site and clients within Kigali, where prepayment meters
will be installed for the pilot project and to provide domestic logistic and
counterpart staff for the carrying out of installation of prepayment meters
under the supervision of the supplier expert
